The site given by the 6th Baron Calthorpe, Augustus Gough-Calthorpe. The wooden Church Hall was formerly the original St Agnes Church of Wake Green. Also called Ss Mary & Ambrose Church.

Ss Mary & Ambrose Church, Edgbaston - history

Built from 1897 to 1898 to the designs of architect J A Chatwin in red brick and terracotta. It was originally a mission of St Bartholomew Edgbaston. The site was give n by Lord Calthorpe. It became a Grade II listed building in 1982.
