Hockley Community Vocational College

This site and land is to be cleared for a new Kajans Women's Enterprise, including 52 apartments, and employment hub and workshiop units.

The site, formerly known as ‘the Muhammed Ali Centre’ has been demolished (Cawarden) and will now be rejuvenated with a 300-place Kajans Women’s Enterprise, 52 apartments, an employment hub, and workshop units.

Set around a central open square offering a communal focus, the college aims to empower young local residents (14-25) by providing key new skills in the hospitality, health and social care, and business sectors.

Running in close relation with the college will be an enterprise employment hub, with seven new workshop units offering meeting and exhibition space. The residential aspect will deliver 52 one- and two-bed apartments, targeted at older current students & graduates.
