Bilston Town Hall is on Church Street and Lichfield Street, Bilston, WV14 0AP

In brief

The Town Hall in Bilston was founded in 1872, with a free public library following in 1880. It was by the architects Bidlake and Lovatt and built in the Free Classical style of Ashlar with a tile roof. It ceased to be the seat of local government when Bilston became part of the county Borough of Wolverhampton in 1966, but continued to be used by the Wolverhampton housing department until 1996. The building was refurbished from 2005 and reopened in 2007 with a modern glass entrance. It's been a Grade II listed building since 1992.
