Walsall Town Hall is on Leicester Street and dates to 1903 while Walsall Council House dates to 1902-05 on Tower Street. Both are Grade II listed buildings. Tower at Lichfield Street corner.

In brief

The Town Hall was built in 1903 by J S Gibson. The facade made of sandstone ashlar, in the Baroque style. It is next to the Council House. A Grade II listed building since 1986.

Where is Walsall Council House?

Walsall Council House at Lichfield Street and Tower Street, Walsall, WS1 1SE

 

In brief

The Council House was built from 1902 to 1905 by J S Gibson. Built of sandstone ashlar with a tile roof in the Baroque style. The foundation stone was laid in 1902 by HRH Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. At the corner of Tower Street and Lichfield Street is a tower. It's next to the Town Hall. A Grade II listed building since 1986.
