Halesowen Bus Station

Halesowen Bus Station has had a bus station since the 1960s, relocated in 1983 and modernised in 2007 with the current building when a new ASDA superstore was built.

In brief

The first bus station was built in the late 1960s, but was relocated from 1983 onwards at the current site. It was mostly unchanged until part of the shopping centre frontage was sacrificed to enable it to be enlarge in 1999. But it was outdated, and closed in March 2007 for a total redevelopment which also saw a new ASDA superstore open nearby. The present bus station opened on the same site in December 2008, along with the new ASDA in the Cornbow Shopping Centre.
