Wednesbury Great Western Street Tram Stop

Wednesbury Great Western Street is the tram stop next to the West Midlands Metro tram depot, within Zone 3. You would usually see the driver and ticket inspector changing here. Opened in 1999.

Where is Wednesbury Great Western Street Tram Stop?

Wednesbury Great Western Street Tram Stop is at Great Western Street, Wednesbury, WS10 7LL. Next to the West Midlands Metro tram depot.

In brief

This is the tram stop in Wednesbury near the West Midlands Metro tram depot, opened in 1999 on the line between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Both the stop and depop was built on the site of the old Wednesbury Central railway station which closed in 1972. Nearby they are currently building a new Metro extension to Brierley Hill via Dudley, and will be a junction to the east. Can see the Sleipnir sculpture from here.
