Grand Central Tram Stop

Grand Central was the terminus of the first Midland Metro extension from 2016 until it was extended to Centenary Square in 2019. Located outside of Birmingham New Street Station.

In brief

It opened in 2016 at the end of the first Midland Metro extension from Birmingham Snow Hill to Birmingham New Street stations. The line was further extended from here in 2019 to Centenary Square and to Edgbaston in 2022. Now part of Zone 1 of the West Midlands Metro.
