In brief

This was the original Wolverhampton terminus, close to the City Centre shops, opened on the original Birmingham to Wolverhampton line 1 in 1999. Now within Zone 4 of the West Midlands Metro. It had two platforms until 2015. It was closed temporarily in 2023, when the new Wolverhampton Station Metro extension opened. Was named after the former St George's Church nearby.
