Trolley someone dumped near Yardley Wood Road (not far fromt the entrance).

Swanshurst Park (June 2020). After days of rain on and off, a warm dry spell. So some time for an afternoon walk around here again, and the nature reserve part for the second time.

No thanks we just ate. People please stop feeding the birds!

Mill Lodge Park (April 2017). In Solihull on Aqueduct Road and Green Lane near Shirley. Also called Colebrook Recreation Ground. The River Cole flows through this park on the western side. There is also the Aqueduct Road Meadow Local Wildlife Site to the north.

The Dumping of Waste

Shirley Park (June 2020). An Sunday early evening walk in Shirley. Found a hidden woodland walk and a daisy field in the former putting green.

Bin - If the bin is full, take your litter home. Think first!

Chinn Brook Meadows, Shire Country Park (April 2020). It is a 34 Acre site bounded by Yardley Wood Road to the west, Chinn Brook Road to the north, Highfield Road to the east and Glastonbury Road to the south. Renamed from Chinn Brook Recreation Ground in 2010. Chinn Brook flows through.

No Dumping sign in the Burbury Brickworks (May 2020). 14th May 2020. This rubbish, takeaway packets etc attracted hungry crows looking for food.

Your City Your Birmingham, Safer, Cleaner, Greener - unfortunately some people ignore these signs and dump their rubbish anyway.

Trolley dumped in the Blackberry Way (May 2020). Seen on the 14th May 2020. Please don't dump rubbish in the Shire Country Park. Lots of rubbish in the Blackberry Way and Burbury Brickworks.

Highbury Park (May 2020). First time back here during lockdown. Nice weather, grass long. Ducks in the pond. Also went round the back of Highbury Hall.

Blackberry Way in the Shire Country Park (May 2020). From the Stratford Road at the Hall Green / Sparkhill border (Springfield) to Formans Road (Burbury Brickworks is next). Lockdown daily walk. Named as locals could pick blackberries down here. Formerly known as Fulford.

Burbury Brickworks Nature Reserve (May 2020). The Shire Country Park. From Formans Road in Sparkhill and went as far as the Cole Valley Business Park before heading along another path back to Formans Road. A lockdown walk along the River Cole. Site of former brickmaking factory closed 1960s.
