Birmingham New Street Signal Box opened at a site on Brunel Street and Navigation Street in 1966. It was in continuous use until near the end of 2022. It was Grade II listed in 1995.
The Parkside Building was the first building to be built of Birmingham City University's Eastside Campus, between 2011 and 2013. Next to Millennium Point at Cardigan Street.
The Curzon Building was built at Birmingham City University's Eastside Campus between 2013 and 2015 at the corner of Cardigan Street and Curzon Street in Eastside.
The former Lock Keepers Cottage at 34 Belmont Row in Eastside, near the Digbeth Branch Canal. It might date to around 1891. More recently has Lucy McLauchlan street art on it.
Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute, also called EBRI was originally the Delicia Cinema in the Gosta Green area of Birmingham. It was converted in early 2010s.
The old Watertower at the former Hollymoor Hospital, built by Martin and Martin between 1896 and 1905. Hollymoor Hospital was built in 1900, but was closed by 1996.
The Horseshoe is a public house in Kings Heath on Alcester Road South. A canalside pub on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal.
Church of God of Prophecy Nechells Outreach Centre is on Long Acre in Nechells, Birmingham. Built originally as a Presbyterian chapel in 1888-9.
The Freightliner terminal at Landor Street in the Vauxhall or Nechells area of Birmingham. You will most likely pass it on the train between Birmingham New Street and Coventry.
The White Tower is a public house, also called Moriarty's at Curzon Circle, on Lawley Middleway and Vauxhall Road near Nechells in Birmingham. It is opposite of Eastside.
Heartlands Academy is located on Great Francis Street in Vauxhall, Birmingham. It is now also an e-Act Academy.
The Lanchester Car Monument was made in 1995 by Tim Tolkien, to commemorate the work of Frederick William Lanchester. Located in Bloomsbury Park, near Oliver Street.
The old Bloomsbury Library, dates to 1892-93, built of pink terracotta in the classical style is on Nechells Parkway. Is now Rising Stars Daycare. A Grade II listed building.
Cromwell Junior & Infant School was originally the Cromwell Street School, built in 1889 by J A Cossins for the Birmingham School Board. The school is close to Bloomsbury Park.
A pocket park in Nechells called Hope Gardens between Aston Church Road and Nechells Park Road. Features a childrens play area and basketball court.
Dudley Castle dates to as early as the 11th century and was in used until the 18th century. Dudley Zoo opened around the castle in 1937. Located at Castle Hill in Dudley.
A Grade II* listed 15th century building located in the grounds of St Nicolas' Church, Kings Norton. The Old Grammar School along with The Saracens Head won BBC Restoration in 2004.
The Saracen's Head was a late 15th century Tudor Merchant's House located in Kings Norton. The Grade II* listed building won BBC's Restoration in 2004 with The Old Grammar School.
The Bulls Head is a public house on The Green in Kings Norton Village. It is near The Saracen's Head (Saint Nicolas' Place) and St Nicolas' Church.
The Church of The Ascension is located in Hall Green at the corner of Fox Hollies Road and School Road. Grade II* listed building dating to around 1703-04. Built of red brick with stone.
The Cotteridge Church is situated at Pershore Road South in Cotteridge, Birmingham. It has a history going back to 1903-4. But was a merger of three churches around 1980.
St Anne's Church is a Roman Catholic Church on Alcester Street in Digbeth. Built 1883-84 by Albert Vicars. Part of the Irish Quarter, the building has been Grade II listed since 2021.
The Other Place is one of the Royal Shakespeare Company's theatres, located on Southern Lane in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. It opened back in 1974, and had a few renovations since.
