The Bear and Staff - details
A public house close to Selly Oak Triangle, where the Bristol Road has a junction with Oak Tree Lane and Harborne Lane.
The pub is part of the Marston's family of pubs.
It's between Lodge Hill Road and Frederick Road in Selly Oak.
It is on the no 61 and 63 bus routes, but can also be reached by getting off the 11A or 11C as well.

In 2017, student accommodation was built next to it on Frederick Road called The QED.
The pubs sign has an image of a bear chained to a trunk of wood, this is the emblem of Warwickshire.

The pub was refurbished in 2020, including repainting and changing some of the signs outside.
